EXO - The Lost Planet #1 in Jakarta

Hello guys! So yeah, I'm gonna share about my experience during watching TLP 10 days ago. Well it's quite surprising that I attended TLP right? Hahaha not so many people knows that I like EXO. I just started liking em some months ago. Lemme give some introduction about how I started liking em..
I never really interested in EXO ever since their debut, since there are so many members and I was like "oh it's gonna be the younger version of Super Junior" and "it will be super hard to remember their faces and names". I just knew one of their song "MAMA" and I thought it was quite okay. Just that. But I started to put the rage against them in 2013 since they won most of the awards. I was so mad since B2ST's "Shadow" deserves the award compared to theirs.
But remember this phrase "there's only a small line that differentiate love and hate". I guess it occurs in me lol. Probably in April 2014 I was so bored and I really wanted to watch a fun variety show (I am not really into dramas) other than RM. My friend once said that EXO Showtime is really fun to watch so I started to watch it. It was not so long until I started to get into them and listen to their songs. Surprisingly, they have so many not-so-famous-but-really-nice kind of songs!
Suddenly in July, a promotor announced that EXO will hold their first concert here and I was like "omg I want to attend the concert", but I was really concerned since I don't have any friends to watch with. At that time, none of my close friends like EXO. I also didn't know how to get home from the venue alone.
In the sales day (August 9), I went out with my friends until about 2 PM. At that time, most VIP tickets had been sold out. I didn't want any other sections so I was like "it's okay they will come back here again eventually." and I started to forget my desire to watch TLP without any dissappointments or regrets. But one day, I was so lucky to get a special chance to get VIP C ticket (it's the section which I wanted the most since the beginning) and I was like "okay buy it now or you'll regret it later on" so I got it.
At the beginning I got a crazy idea to stay in a hotel which is within walking distance to the venue. I also predicted that it is the hotel where EXO members will stay (and I am right! haha) so there will be high possibilites that I can bump into the members at the lobby or lift hahaha but I forgot that plan since I still need lots of money for my final project. Luckily I found a person who stays in the same area as me and had no friend to watch TLP as well. She's not in VIP C but it's okay fr me. I don't care who I'll be standing with during the concert as long as I have a friend to go to the venue, queue, and go back home together.
At the D-day (September 6), we decided to meet up at the shuttle bus terminal and go to FX by the shuttle bus at 8.15. She was a really nice person and 3 years older than me. We reached FX at 9 but we decided to go to the toilet first as it will be very hard to go to the toilet when we reach the venue (the toilet will be so crowded and dirty.. yuck..). After reached the venue, we separated for a while. I queued to exchange my e-voucher to the real ticket and she queued to purchase the official merhandise. After that at 10, we started to queue to enter the gate. The queue was super long although it was just 10! I heard that some people had stayed overnight there and many people arrived at the dawn. Omg they were so "niat" lol. And not to mention, the queue was no joke. It was very packed and chaotic since there were no separated queue for each section. Well, most of EXO fans are immature teenagers. Just imagine how chaotic the queue was, people kept on pushing each other, cutting the line, shouting bad words to the staffs, and so on. My friend and I were only looking at each other and smiling. I knew she was thinking of the same thing as me hahaha. We have to stand for about 6 hours before entering the gate, being pushed here and there, and listen to those immature teenagers screaming and shouting. My energy was so drained even before entering the venue and I lost my mood already because of all those shits.
The gate was opened at about 4.30 and I entered the venue at about 5.15. I was quite surprised to see that there were not so many people at that time (I guess the ones that queued very early were mostly in Premium or Regular areas). I was about to take the spot near the center stage but it was quite packed right there. So I decided to take the spot at the front part of VIP C and I was at the third or fourth row. Not bad right? And I even met 3 other people who turned out to come from my college as well!
Right at 6.30, the concert started. The opening VCR was cool though. And when the boys appeared on the stage everyone screamed like crazy. I didn't even screamed like that haha blame it on those immature teenagers at the queue line who threw my mood away. But yeah I couldn't even take my eyes off those boys since they were so flawless. Let me describe each member briefly :
Suho : Suho is definetely a living Korean Ken doll haha I mean look at his features and hair. He is not that tall but his skin is sooo milky white. I can say that Suho is naturally handsome but not with that kind of blonde hair please. That hair has reduced Suho's handsomeness up to 50%. Look at Suho during MAMA era (and any other eras before Overdose) and you'll understand why I say this. His voice is nice and soft but he's definetely a really cheesy guy haha he's trying so hard to be funny but not funny lol poor you. I got a smile from him though at that night hihi <3
Baekhyun : Baekhyun has a very fair complexion and such small eyes. He kinda reminds me of.. puppy? Haha but he is cute and he looks better than in videos/photos. His singing voice is very good though. And oh, he's really talkative as well.
Chanyeol : a tall tall guy. I even had to look up a little bit when he was standing in front of me since he is so damn tall. His legs are so long and looks like chopsticks since he's quite skinny. Chanyeol is undoubtedly handome (but a little bit "sok ganteng" haha he have that "i-am-handsome-and-i-know-it vibe). His rapping and speaking voice are both nice, so husky and deep. He's another member who smiled to me that night ;)
D.O : omg how can a guy be really handsome and squishy at the same time?! I can say that D.O has the best face (don't be so biased and don't look at the other characteristics such as body, talent, and personality. Just the face). He is definetely a shortie haha I am pretty sure that he's only a little bit taller than me (I am 167 cm anyway) haha but he is just so effin gorgeous and cute especially when he smiled. This guy played around a lot in my area and he even danced once right in front of my face (literally. since i was pushed until i reached the first row lol) and he kept on smiling during his dance. I was so speechless haha I really want to pinch him because he did that in front of my face. And his speaking voice is the 2nd best after Chanyeol.
Kai : I anticipated this guy a lot. When the boys first appeared on the stage, he is the one I was looking for and I kept my eye on him during the beginning until MAMA. I can understand why they put Kai as the face of the group since he really stands out. He has that swag when he moves and he's got a really sexy smirk :3 Kai has a very very handsome face (a little bitchy though lol) and he's not that dark only slightly tanned! I don't know why he's often teased as dark-skinned. Kai is completely different during the performance and talking session. During the performance he's just too hot, sexy, and fierce but other than that, he's just a calm guy which doesn't talk much. I get the impression that he is very pressured/stressed/sad and he didn't smile so much.
Sehun : a giant baby! Another bitch-faced member. Also very tall and good looking. I can see why Koreans love him so much since he fits Korean standards very well (tall body, small face with good proportions, milky white skin, and etc).
Xiumin : I'm sorry Xiustans but he's the most outshined member at that night. I didn't really put so many attention on him but well Xiumin is cute. He doesn't look like the oldest member anyway. His butt shake during his solo stage is definetely unforgettable lol.
Luhan : mirror mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all? It's definetely Luhan! I am not kidding Luhan so effin damn pretty! Even prettier than many girl group members and his skin is also the best. So milky white, flawless, and it looks so smooth that I want to touch it so bad. But if you see him carefully, you can find a manly vibe on him. Luhan is also very skinny duh look at his arms. His voice is really very nice and soothing.
Lay : well guess who looks much better in person than in photos or videos? It's Lay. I always thought that he is handsome but that's it. Nothing really special about him. But he looked absoeffingly handsome that night hahaha and one thing I noticed that night, he is a good dancer as well and not even worse than Kai.
Chen : undoubtedly the best vocalist in EXO. Well I still love D.O's voice the most but Chen definetely has the best technique and power amongst all. Loving his solo stage so much! And oh, like Chanyeol, he's quite flirty. He kept on winking to girls lol.
Tao : I always thought that Tao's face is quite weird but actually he doesn't look that weird in person! He has a charisma anyway. His solo stage is the one I anticipated the most but he didn't perform due to the rain </3
After all, the concert was pretty great. Those boys are definetely good performers. But well, the queue was such a chaos and I didn't really enjoy the concert because of that. I'd definetely like to watch those boys again if they come to Indonesia again someday hahaha but I wish the venue to be indoor and the promotor manage the queue line well.

Random Questions

Hello folks! It's been a while since my first post here. Well, my laptop was broken a day after I wrote that post and I'm currently very busy dealing with my internship report and thesis proposal. It's gonna be a tough semester ahead but I believe I can deal with it well ;) *fingercross*
Anyway, do you know that one social media which is very happenning nowadays, where you can ask and answer questions? I'm gonna post some of the random questions and my answers here lol here we go~ (I'm gonna translate it in English by the way)
Q: Your favourite food?
A: Hahahaha I really love to eat and I can't pick one! But well, my favourite foods are Indonesian/Western/Japanese/Korean.

Q: How many cities have you lived in? And where do you want to live?
A: Pekalongan for 15 years, Jakarta for 3 years, Tangerang for 3 years and still going, and a short stay in Semarang for 1 month! Definetely looking forward to live in another places lol I want to live in Europe someday. Either UK/Germany/Spain.

Q: Any hot guys during internship? :3
A: HAHAHAHA you wish!

Q: What is your biggest annoyance right now?
A: Thesis proposal! Omg it is even harder to make compared to internship report :(

Q: What are your current cravings?
A: So many hahaha well now I want to eat Fish n Co, Marugame Udon, Coco Ichibanya, Union, Sate Khas Senayan, Myeong Ga Myeon Ok, and many mooooore~

Q: Please tell me one of your weird habit
A: Umm I always cover my body when I sleep no matter how hot it is, because I will feel insecure without my blanket but I always leave my feet uncovered since I find it uncomfortable and hot. So I always sleep with the blanket covering my body but not my feet lol my sister always say that I'm weird because of this habit.

Q: I heard you live in a mixed boarding house, is it nice? What are the advantages and disadvantages compared to all-girls boarding house?
A: Yes I am and I love it! Actually I never live in all-girls boarding house before but I guess I'll prefer mixed boarding house than all-girls. For me, the advantages are that the house will be more quiet (you know, girls tend to be more noisy), more "nice view" (especially if there's a hot guy living in the house hahahaha), and there will be less b*tch-fight in the house. The disadvantages... Probably you can't just go around in the house without your underwear :P and also if you share the bathroom, you should be extra careful not to leave your "girls things" in the bathroom!

Q: What do you think about dating younger guy?
A: Well nothing is wrong about that... As long as the guy can act mature despite of his age, why not?

Q: Do you enjoy movie date?
A: Actually no hahahaha I may sound selfish but what's the point of dating if my boy is focused on the movie not me lol

Q: How can you get impressed by a guy?
A: I can be impressed with a guy which is smart (not necessary very smart in his study. Broad knowledge is also a plus point for me), does not talk much but more in action (I really hate NATO or "Omong Doang" guys though), and well, I can be impressed with a guy which is gentle and knows how to treat girl right hahahaha who doesn't melt when a guy treats you gently? ;)

Q: Your current celebrity crush?
A: Henry Lau! Physically not my favourite since he is too cute for me lol but I really adore his talents. I mean, he is such a multitalented person. I mean, he sings well, dances well, raps well, speaks 6 foreign languages, plays 3 musical instruments, and cooks well! How can you master all of those things at once? Not to mention his bright and positive personality. This person is definetely one of a kind and I really like this person hahaha.

Q: Your favourite ice cream flavor?
A: Mint chocolate chip/matcha/caramel

Q: Which day of the internship is your favourite?
A: To be honest, I don't like any days in which I should wake up early, go to work, and go home in the evening hahaha but if I can choose, probably my days in packaging material QC? The place was really dusty but at least they let me play handphone and I didn't even do heavy tasks there. They even gave me tea and afternoon snacks hahaha.

INTERNSHIP!

Hey, this is my first post in this blog. But actually not my first post in blogging world though. I used to have a blog but I forgot my password. So, I decided to create one because I suddenly miss blogging due to my boredomness lol.
So here I am right now, doing my internship as one of the requirement from my department to graduate. I am working for a factory which produces powder drink products in a city that is famous for its “Lunpia”. I am halfway done with my internship and after 10 days working I do have some stories to share here. But let me first share my “road to internship” story.....
It is not easy for me to find a place for doing my internship because my department kept on delaying the briefing about internship for the students. The internship should be done between May-July but they did the briefing at the end of February. We should get a fixed company at least one month before the internship starts because we have to submit the proposal one week before working and you know, the making of proposal and the revisions will take some while. I started to contact some companies at the beginning of March but most of them said that the quota for internship students for June/July already full, and some others did not even respond me. I was really desperate at that time and I was scared that I won’t be able to find a company to do my internship. But then, I remembered one of my mother’s friend. We once went on a dinner together and she told me that she had a friend in a company where I worked right now, and the company often accepts students for internship. So I suddenly applied for the company through e-mail. But it was not really easy though because the HRD keeps on saying that they’ll contact me later because they were so busy due to high demand. I only could wait in despair while trying to find another companies as a back up plan for the worst scenario. But then, the HRD called me one month after I submitted my application and said that I could do my internship there. I remembered I was about to start my exercise at the gym at that time and I was really happy until I worked out for a really looooooong time without being tired lol.
The making of proposal and the revisions went on smoothly for me, since I only needed two times of revision. My internship supervisor said that I am the first student under his supervision to submit the proposal, the others even had not done any revisions when I finished mine! But another thing to worry comes, where should I stay and how could I get there? My parents told me to just stay in my little sister’s boarding house but I was like “OMFG SERIOUSLY THAT’S SO FAR AWAY OKAY”. But I have no other choices since it’s better than finding another boarding house for me and they told me to just grab a taxi.
And the internship day came.....  I went to the main office to meet the HRD and she took me to the factory building and she introduced my field supervisor there. My field supervisor is the manager of PPIC department and he is definetely younger than my expectation (I was expecting that he is an old man hahaha). I haven’t met him a lot because I am not doing the consultation everyday (I know he’s a manager and he seems to be really busy so I don’t want to bother him much, and I tend to try finding anything I need to know by asking the supervisors on the plant) but I do have some conversation with him and he seems nice though, and also knowledgeable (for sure if he’s not knowledgeable he won’t be a manager hahaha). Until this day, I have spend 5 days in production and packaging department and another 5 days in QC department. So here comes the main story.....
So one thing I feel all the time here is..... LONELY. Yes, baby I am so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely~ I was expecting that I will meet any other internship students and be friends with them but well, there’s none </3 I do meet a girl who is doing her “training” but I only see her during lunch break so other than that, I am ALL ALONEEEE. Seriously I am not advising any people to do internship alone unless you are sure that you won’t feel lonely. Well, I am not a kind of girl who is really talkative (I am considered as someone who doesn’t talk really much by my friends though). But still, I am really desperate to have some nice talk and jokes during work time. For sure I do talk to the workers there but well, it’s different right? I can’t talk to them as if they are my buddies..... *sigh*
Another thing that I feel is BORED. Especially when I was doing observations in production and packaging department. For 5 days I just went to the same place, watching same people doing same thing. I could finish my observation for 2-3 hours in each day and the rest? Just wandering here and there and half daydreaming. I really wanted to sit down and doing the report, just like what my friends do in their companies if they have finished their task at that day but well, it’s quite different there. It’s like the internship system is “come at 8, spend your time at the field, lunch break, spend your time at the field, finish at 4”, so you should be on the field no matter what. I really envy my friends who can do the report at the office hours though. Sometimes I did help the workers, but I will take a reaaaaaaally long time to do what they do and I even did a lot of mistakes since I am not used to it, so my attempt to help was not beneficial for them hahaha so I chose not to bother them with their works. Things are much better when I was in QC department, I always had something to do either it’s measuring moisture content, weighing sachets, measuring length, and many others.
And another thing I feel nowadays is OFFENDED. I did not feel this when I was in production and packaging. This starts in QC department when I interact with the staffs directly for the whole day. They were talking about my race and some of them were quite rude about it. The people in QC for packaging are the worst. I understand if they are not used to see Indonesian-Born-Chinese people like me (it’s funny though actually another blood runs in me but yeah, the Chinese gene is muuuuuch more dominant). There are many IBC workers in the main office but I haven’t seen any single IBC in the factory building, and the people that works in the plant (the ones that are just worker and not supervisors/managers) are (sorry to say this) low class people that might not taught to be well-mannered and professional. But well, I don’t think that’s a good excuse for offending me with racial stuffs. Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is our country’s motto, which means that we are different but we are one. You should accept that this country has so many people with different races, including Chinese. If you don’t like it, go to hell dude.
And the last thing that I feel is..... AWKWARD. All the people talks in FULL JAVANESE here and I can’t do that. The people here might think that “ah what’s with that girl she comes from Pekalongan and she doesn’t speak Javanese? She must be really ostentatious.” But that’s not the thing, really. When I was a child, my mom always scolded me whenever I said words in full Javanese and she told me that it was really ugly. I grow up with that mindset and I only use some Javanese words in my sentences whenever I talk to my parents and my friends. And my Javanese is getting worse since I moved to Jakarta 6 years ago, studying in international high school and in international class at university. I interact with my teachers and lecturers in English and with most people here in full Indonesian and Jakarta accent. So for now, it is much more comfortable for me to talk in Indonesian or English. My friends from Pekalongan even told me that I sounds really weird whenever I try to talk in Javanese. I do understand what those people are talking but I just can’t reply in full Javanese like them, I just reply in Indonesian and trying to put some Javanese words and a little bit of Javanese accent. But I know I sounds weird and things will become quite awkward lol.
And there are any other things I want to say but I guess I don’t want to share it here. Even if I want to share, it will not be at this time being. Don’t ask me why hahaha.
Well all the things that I had mentioned before are all bad, huh? But actually not all are bad here. The traffic jam is still bearable here. The traffic is quite bad whenever I get out from the factory due to so many trucks but I guess it is much better than Jakarta’s traffic. Most of the staffs are nice though and they always smile back at me whenever I smile at them and they don’t hesitate to talk to me even I am just a stranger/outsider lol.
Well, this is quite a long post, huh? I guess I have to stop here. I will share another stories soon! Bye for now ;)
